Milos Beaches
Milos is famous for its azure waters and unique beaches which are over 70 around the island and most of them surrounded by stunning sand dunes. Apart from the lovely Achivadolimni Beach, visitors of Milos Achivadolimni Bungalows and Camping Site can also swim at the nearby beaches of Provatas, Fyriplaka and Tsigrado.
On the western coast of Milos, there is a plethora of wonderful beaches to swim at such as Ammoudaraki, Agathia, Gerondas, Triades, Sykia and Kleftiko (the latter two can only be reached by boat).
On the southern side of the island are the beaches of Agia Kyriaki, Paleochori and Fyriplaka, while northern Milos offers the beaches of Fyropotamos, Plathiena, Alogomandra and Sarakiniko. Sarakiniko is the best known beach in Milos and it is a rather particular setting with stark white volcanic rock formations bringing in mind lunar scenery which is definitely a must-see.

Local Cuisine
Milos is famous for its local delicacies such as “karpouzopita” (watermelon pie), pitarakia (cheese pies), rooster in red sauce, sea food pasta dishes and “koufeto” (a sweet made from pumpkin).
